iKAT is a webapp made for treating patients who suffers from depression. It was made for the healthcare sector of the Region of Southern Denmark. The application was designed based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which educates the patient and provides a range of tools for him/her to deal with their depression on an everyday basis.
I worked in close collaboration with psychologists from the field, and together we conceptualized the CBT treatment into a web-based treatment.

I did everything from conceptual development to information architecture, wireframes and the final design.
The therapy consists of 8 chapters, each containing educational videos along with interactive exercises. The app is designed around a dashboard, that slowly gets populated with widgets/tools which gets 'unlocked' as the patient progresses through the treatment.
Below is a short video from a Danish tv documentary, showing an interview with a patient who used the software to get out of her depression.
