This is a 'paused' project I started on earlier this year. Its quite simple. Measuring the tilt of a rockchair (is it called that..? swingchair?) with a Nintendo Wiimote attached underneath the seat. The chair then controls the tempo of a beat or a melody. Combining three of these would make a band. One playing the drums, another playing the bass and a third playing the piano. You would then have to rock the chair in the same rythm to make the musik play together properly. Great Amusement!
I made this small patch in max/msp that would trigger samples according to the tilt of the wiimote. Still needs a bit of tweaking though (a lot actually). I used the Osculator software to connect the wiimote with max.
